Use cases

PhotoVox shines anytime you need proof + context. Capture the photo, then narrate the details while they’re fresh.

Job site logs (construction & trades)

Document progress with before/after photos and a quick voice update. Search later by keywords you said out loud.

Great for: punch lists • measurements • materials • change orders

Property walkthroughs (real estate)

Snap each room and narrate what matters. Use transcripts to find “roof leak”, “HVAC”, or “paint damage” instantly.

Great for: inspections • showing notes • client requests

Home projects & DIY

Capture wiring, labels, parts, and “how it looked before”. Record steps so you can pick up later without guessing.

Great for: serial numbers • paint codes • shopping lists

Receipts, warranties & inventory

Take a photo and say where it’s stored, when you bought it, and warranty details. Keep everything in one place.

Great for: returns • reimbursements • insurance documentation

Travel memory capture

Turn moments into a timeline: photos + voice notes. Search for “that taco spot” or “best trailhead” later.

Great for: food spots • hikes • hotel notes • tips

Whiteboards & meetings

Take a whiteboard photo and record action items. Transcription helps you find decisions and follow-ups fast.

Great for: brainstorming • tasks • decisions • next steps

How it works

A simple flow designed for real life: capture quickly now, retrieve confidently later.

1

Create a note

Tap New Note and give it a short title (example: “Kitchen remodel” or “Site visit 3/12”).

Tip: Start the title with a project name so your list stays organized.

2

Add a photo

Tap Add Image to take a photo or choose one from your gallery.

Tip: Photograph labels, serial numbers, receipts, or “before” conditions.

3

Record a voice note

Tap Record, speak naturally, then tap Stop. Your audio stays attached to the note.

Tip: Say key keywords out loud (“filter size 12”, “needs 2×4 studs”) to make search easier.

4

Transcribe (Pro / enabled plans)

Tap Transcribe to convert your voice note into text. Then search the transcript like a document.

Tip: Use transcription for long-term recall and quick copying/sharing.

5

Search & review

Use the Search bar to find notes by title or transcript keywords.

Tip: Search phrases you remember saying—PhotoVox makes them findable.

6

Export / import backups

Use Export to back up your notes and Import to restore them on a new phone.

Tip: Do a monthly export if you rely on PhotoVox for work logs.
